Growing up on Phillip Island I have always had a love of the water. I spent my summers down the beach and at the Cowes pool. Now days I love spending time at the ocean and in rivers with my family and love playing around the rock pools finding all sorts of hidden natural treasures. My mum was the Phillip Island Squad instructor so my Sundays were spent racing at swim carnivals with my sisters. I have always enjoyed swimming and have a passion to work with children, so I combined my two loves and become a swim Instructor whilst at university studying to become a primary school teacher. I have taught in both the classroom and as PE teacher. At Bass Primary School I ran the swimming program for many years and truly love watching children’s swimming skills develop and the joy it brings them.
